Start your dream tour early in the morning, when our driver picks you up from your designated point in Athens. The first stop of your tour will be at the Isthmus of Corinth, the widely known Corinth Canal to take pictures of this stunning engineering marvel, connecting the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea.

You will then continue to the Archaeological Site of Ancient Corinth, a major center of commerce, culture, and politics. It is considered the favorite city of Apostle Paul and one of the most important city states of Ancient Greece.

The Archaeological Museum displays a rich collection of artifacts, while the ruins of Roman buildings, including the Basilica and Forum, reflect Corinth’s later history.

Your day will conclude in the picturesque town of Nafplio, the first capital of modern Greece. Highlights include the Palamidi Fortress, offering panoramic views of the town and sea, the Bourtzi Fortress on a small island in the harbor, and the charming Syntagma Square with its elegant buildings. Narrow cobblestone streets, vibrant cafes, and the serene waterfront make Nafplio a delightful destination for history lovers and travelers seeking a relaxed, scenic escape, that you can discover by yourselves.

Accommodation in Nafplio at 4* Hotel

Your day begins with a visit to the world-famous Ancient Theater of Epidaurus, which still hosts performances to this day. Epidaurus was a center of healing dedicated to Asclepius, the god of medicine, whose sanctuary ruins still stand on the site, along with a stadium and various temples.

Your next visit is the Ancient Mycenae which was once a powerful kingdom, famously depicted in Homer’s Iliad. Visitors can explore the iconic Lion Gate, the entrance to the citadel, and the impressive Tholos Tombs, including the Tomb of Agamemnon. The site also features the remains of grand palaces, defensive walls, and various artifacts, offering a fascinating glimpse into the ancient world and its legendary rulers. Mycenae’s strategic location and monumental architecture make it a must-see for history enthusiasts.

You will then continue to Sparta, a legendary city of ancient Greece, a destination that resonates with history, culture, and natural beauty. Nestled in the heart of the Peloponnese, this historic city was once the formidable powerhouse of ancient Greece, known for its disciplined warriors and iconic military strength.

Accommodation in Mystras at 4* Hotel

Your day will start in Mystras, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a captivating destination for travelers exploring Greece’s Peloponnese region. Perched on the slopes of Mount Taygetus, this medieval Byzantine city offers a journey back in time through its well-preserved ruins, blending history, architecture, and stunning natural landscapes.

Wander through the ancient streets and marvel at the impressive structures, including the Grand Palaces of the Despots, the intricately frescoed churches like Agia Sophia and the Church of Agios Dimitrios, and the serene monasteries. Each building tells a story of Mystras’ significance as a center of Byzantine power and culture in the 14th and 15th centuries. Mystras is also a haven for photography enthusiasts, offering countless opportunities to capture its atmospheric ruins and lush surroundings.

The panoramic views from the Upper Fortress provide a magnificent farewell as you set off for Monemvasia.

The drive from Mystras to Monemvasia is a treat in itself. Wind through picturesque villages, olive groves, and the rugged landscapes of the Peloponnese.

Arriving at Monemvasia, you’ll be transported to another world. This medieval fortress town, carved into a massive rock jutting into the sea, is connected to the mainland by a narrow causeway. Park your car outside the gates, as Monemvasia is a pedestrian-only destination.

Inside, explore the labyrinthine alleys, stone mansions, and vibrant bougainvillea-lined streets. Must-visit landmarks include the Church of Christos Elkomenos with its intricate carvings, the Byzantine Agia Sophia perched on the upper town, and the castle ruins offering sweeping views of the Aegean Sea.

Monemvasia offers charming boutique hotels and guesthouses, giving you the unique opportunity to stay inside a medieval fortress.

Accommodation in Monemvasia

Begin your day with a scenic drive to the Mani Peninsula, known for its rugged landscapes, unique architecture, and fascinating history. The highlight of your morning is a visit to the Diros Caves, one of the most impressive natural wonders in Greece.

Take an enchanting underground boat tour through the caves, where stalactites and stalagmites create a surreal, almost otherworldly atmosphere. The tour lasts about 25 minutes and navigates through a network of crystal-clear waters and ethereal limestone formations, offering a glimpse into the natural artistry carved over millennia.

After your subterranean adventure, head to Areopoli, the traditional capital of the Mani Peninsula, just a short drive from the caves. Areopoli, named after Ares, the Greek god of war, is a picturesque town known for its well-preserved stone tower houses and cobblestone streets.

For lunch, enjoy a meal at a traditional taverna, where local delicacies such as Mani sausages, fresh seafood, and olive-oil-rich dishes are a must-try. Don’t miss the chance to sample the region’s famous honey and sfela cheese.

Afterward, take a leisurely drive along the rugged coastline, where dramatic cliffs meet the deep blue sea.

In Limeni, unwind at a waterfront café or taverna, where you can enjoy fresh seafood while watching the sun set over the tranquil bay. The peaceful ambiance and the sound of gentle waves make it an ideal spot for a relaxing evening.

Accommodation in Limeni

Start your day early and head to Ancient Messene, a hidden gem in Greece’s archaeological landscape. Nestled amidst lush hills and olive groves, the location is as scenic as it is historically significant.

Upon arrival, explore the stadium, a remarkable structure where athletic competitions once took place, and the theatre, which stands as a testament to the grandeur of ancient Greek performance arts. Walk along the city walls, marvel at the Agora and the Sanctuary of Asclepius, and visit the small museum that houses fascinating artifacts from the site.

After your exploration, take a short and scenic drive to Kalamata, a vibrant city known for its cultural attractions and gorgeous coastline.

Head to the city’s popular beach, Kalamata Beach, for some relaxation. The long, sandy stretch is lined with beach bars, tavernas, and cafes, offering an ideal spot to unwind. You can take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Messinian Gulf or simply enjoy the sun while sipping on a frappe or a fresh juice.

Accommodation in Kalamata at 4* Hotel

Pylos, a charming seaside town on the western coast of the Peloponnese, is a destination that combines history, natural beauty, and Greek hospitality. Known for its picturesque setting on Navarino Bay and its rich historical significance, Pylos is perfect for travelers seeking both relaxation and exploration.

Visit Niokastro, a 16th-century Ottoman castle that offers panoramic views of the bay and surrounding area. Within the fortress, you’ll find the Pylos Archaeological Museum, which houses artifacts from the region. The castle’s walls and bastions make it a fascinating place to explore.

Just a short drive from Pylos lies Voidokilia Beach, often considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece. Shaped like the letter “Ω”, its crystal-clear waters and golden sand create a perfect setting for swimming, sunbathing, or hiking along nearby trails.

Accomodation in Kyparissia at 4* Hotel

Ancient Olympia is a significant archaeological site in Greece, known as the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Located in the Peloponnese, Olympia was a religious center dedicated to Zeus, featuring the famous Temple of Zeus, which once housed one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World—the statue of Zeus by Phidias. Visitors can explore the Ancient Stadium, where the first Olympic Games were held, the Gymnasium, and the ruins of various temples, altars, and training areas. The site offers a fascinating journey through the history of sport, religion, and ancient Greek culture.

As your unforgettable journey through the wonders of Greece winds down, it’s time to make your way back to Athens, the vibrant capital and the cradle of Western civilization.
