Day 1: Arrival in Athens & Welcome Wine Tasting
Your dream tour starts with a warm welcome at Athens Airport and a private comfortable transfer to your centrally located hotel.
In the evening enjoy a 1.5-hour guided wine tasting session with a certified wine expert, to discover Greece’s ancient vineyards, wine regions, and indigenous grape varieties.

Day 2: Attica Wine Region – The Land of Savatiano
Your private driver will pick you up the next day for a visit and winetasting at 2 of Attica’s historic wineries, in the region of Mesogaia known for the Savatiano variety. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the history of wine in Athens from the antiquity dating back to more than 4.000 ears ago and the unique terroir and microclimate, where the vineyards are located.
You will then head to Cape Sounio one of the most iconic landmarks in Greece. for a visit to the famous Temple of Poseidon, perched on a cliff overlooking the Aegean Sea. There you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the sea.

Day 3: Nemea – The Kingdom of Agiorgitiko - Nafplio
Today you will depart from Athens and head to Nemea is one of Greece’s most prestigious PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) wine regions. First stop will be the Canal of Corinth a narrow, man-made waterway that connects the Aegean Sea (Saronic Gulf) with the Ionian Sea (Gulf of Corinth), effectively separating the Peloponnese from mainland Greece. It remains a spectacular engineering feat and a popular photo stop for travelers passing by. We then reach Nemea, often referred to as the “Bordeaux of Greece” due to its world-class red wines. The star of the region is Agiorgitiko, a versatile grape that produces wines ranging from bright and fruity to deep, complex, and age-worthy. Beyond its rich wine heritage, Nemea is steeped in history, linked to the myth of Hercules and the Nemean Lion.
You will have the chance to visit and enjoy winetasting at two of the most significant and iconic wineries in the area, where you will learn about the Nemea’s unique terroir and climate, which makes their wines famous worldwide.
After a short drive you will reach the picturesque town of Nafplio, the first capital of modern Greece. Highlights include the Palamidi Fortress, offering panoramic views of the town and sea, the Bourtzi Fortress on a small island in the harbor, and the charming Syntagma Square with its elegant buildings. Narrow cobblestone streets, vibrant cafes, and the serene waterfront make Nafplio a delightful destination to relax and enjoy a peaceful dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4: Mantinia – Moschofilero
Nestled in the heart of the Peloponnese, Mantinia is one of Greece’s most celebrated PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) wine regions, famous for its Moschofilero grape. This high-altitude region produces crisp, aromatic white wines with floral and citrus notes. Today’s journey will take you to two local wineries where you can immerse in the unique terroir of Arcadia, combining wine, gastronomy, and cultural heritage. Walk through the vineyards, learning about the high-altitude terroir (600–800m) that gives Moschofilero its characteristic acidity and aromatic complexity followed by a guided cellar tour, exploring traditional and modern winemaking techniques.

Day 5: Delphi & Central Greece Wine
You will continue the tour with a drive towards Delphi, on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. Delphi was believed to be the center of the world and home to the legendary Oracle of Apollo. You will have a guided tour to explore the ancient ruins including the Temple of Apollo considered the heart of the sanctuary, where the Oracle delivered prophecies, the Ancient Theater offering panoramic views of the valley below and the Castalian Spring, where ancient pilgrims purified themselves before consulting the Oracle.
You will also visit the Delphi Archaeological Museum, home to iconic artifacts such as the Charioteer of Delphi and the Omphalos (navel stone), symbolizing Delphi’s central position in the ancient world.
The day continues with a wine tasting experience in Central Greece, a region known for its robust reds and elegant whites, including Xinomavro, Assyrtiko, and Savatiano. You will have the opportunity to visit a beautiful traditional family winery, with passion for wine and its cultivation, with respect to nature and their guests.

Day 6: Evia Island – Hidden Wine Gems
Next day you will travel to Evia, Greece’s second-largest island, reached by an impressive bridge over the Evoikos Gulf. Despite being off the beaten path, the island produces some of the country’s most exciting wines, including Vradiano, Malagousia, and Assyrtiko, thanks to its unique microclimate, mountainous terrain, and rich soil.
At this unique winery, in addition to the winetasting and the visit to the beautiful cellar, you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy a calming and unique spa experience with oenotherapy, using beauty products made at the estate containing wine.
You will then return to Athens for a leisure evening.
