Day 1: Athens to Ancient Corinth
The dream tour begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel or designated meeting point in Athens. Travel by a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle towards the Peloponnese, which you will reach by crossing the famous Corinth Canal, an architectural marvel that symbolizes the innovative spirit of ancient and modern Greece, offering a glimpse into both the country’s engineering history and its natural beauty. You will have the chance to stop for a short photo stop, before continuing your tour.
Ancient Corinth was a major center of commerce, culture, and politics. It is considered the favorite city of Apostle Paul and one of the most important city states of Ancient Greece. Your expert guide will help you throughout your visit to learn of the city’s history.
The Archaeological Museum displays a rich collection of artifacts, while the ruins of Roman buildings, including the Basilica and Forum, reflect Corinth’s later history.
From there, your tour continues to Delphi for overnight.
