Embark on a two-day tour from Athens to explore the ancient ruins of Olympia and Delphi, with a visit to the Temple of Apollo and stop in the charming village of Arachova.
Destination
Day 1: Athens to Ancient Olympia
The dream tour begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel or designated meeting point in Athens. Travel by a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to Ancient Olympia, a journey of approximately four hours. Along the way, enjoy a brief stop at the Corinth Canal for photos and refreshments.
You will then be arriving in Olympia around midday, where you will embark on a guided tour of the archaeological site. Highlights include the Temple of Zeus and Hera, the ancient stadium, the gymnasium, and the Philippeion. Visit the Archaeological Museum of Olympia to view significant artifacts, including the statue of Hermes of Praxiteles.
You will then continue to cross the Rio-Antirio Bridge, an architectural marvel, one of the longest cable-stayed bridges in the world, and reach the beautiful seaside town of Nafpaktos, where you will enjoy dinner at your leisure, with the option to explore the charming atmosphere and its picturesque harbor.

Day 2: Ancient Olympia to Delphi, then Return to Athens
After breakfast you will depart for Delphi, a scenic one hour drive first by the sea and then up the mountains. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of the Delphi Archaeological Site, including the Temple of Apollo, the Sacred Way, and the Castalian Spring. Explore the Ancient Theater and Stadium, then visit the Delphi Archaeological Museum to see treasures such as the Charioteer of Delphi.
On the way back to Athens, there is an optional stop in Arachova, a picturesque mountain village renowned for its handmade textiles and local cheese.
You will then return to Athens in the early evening, with drop-off at your hotel or designated location.
