Continue to Delphi and enjoy a guided tour of the Delphi Archaeological Site, including the Temple of Apollo, the Sacred Way, and the Castalian Spring. Start the day early to explore Meteora’s unique monasteries. You will have the opportunity to visit two of the monasteries in the area with an expert guide. The choice of the monasteries relies on opening and visiting hours. Visit the Great Meteoron Monastery, the Varlaam Monastery, or St. Stephen’s Monastery, which is more accessible and has stunning interiors.

Depart for Kavala, once known as Neapolis, it was the port where Apostle Paul first set foot in Europe. Today head to Philippi, one of Greece’s most important archaeological sites. Visit the ancient city where Saint Paul delivered his First Sermon in Europe, and explore the impressive ruins, including the Roman Forum, the Ancient Theatre, and the Basilica of Philippi, which offers a glimpse into the area’s religious significance.

Continue your journey to Lydia’s Baptismal Site, a deeply spiritual location where Saint Paul is believed to have baptized Europe’s first Christian convert, Lydia. This serene site along the river is a place of reflection and offers a unique historical and religious experience.

After the visit, depart for Thessaloniki, the city where Paul preached and established a strong Christian community.

Accommodation in Thessaloniki at 4* or Boutique Hotel

After breakfast, the day begins with a visit to key Christian and historical sites in Thessaloniki, one of the first cities in Europe where Apostle Paul preached. Your guide will take you to the Church of Saint Demetrios, dedicated to the city’s patron saint and an important pilgrimage site for Orthodox Christians. You’ll also see the Rotunda, a Roman monument later converted into a church, and explore the remains of the Roman Agora, where early Christians once gathered.

After your Thessaloniki tour, you will head west toward Berea (modern-day Veria), a quiet town with deep biblical significance. You will stop at the Bema of Apostle Paul, a monument commemorating his preaching in the city, and visit a local

Today your tour will take you on a scenic half-day cruise along the Athos Peninsula, home to the autonomous monastic republic of Mount Athos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and spiritual center of Eastern Orthodoxy.

While entry to Mount Athos is restricted (and only permitted to men with special permission), this cruise offers breathtaking views of its centuries-old monasteries, built dramatically along the rugged coastline. As you sail along the Aegean Sea, your guide or onboard commentary will share the history, traditions, and spiritual significance of this sacred place.

Tradition holds that Apostle Paul preached at this very site during his visit to Thessaloniki, making it a revered stop for Christian pilgrims. The monastery is also home to valuable religious relics, Byzantine manuscripts, and a tranquil courtyard perfect for quiet reflection.
